PPE ordering failures I see don’t happen because someone picked the wrong brand. They happen because specs get checked after payment, not before. Over the last two years, I’ve coordinated more than 200 urgent safety orders for construction, maintenance, and event clients, and almost every panic call traced back to the same missing detail: a certification mark, a rating, or a label that nobody verified.
Buy safety products only when the hazard assessment, the relevant standard, and the item’s actual label agree. That rule has saved me more times than any vendor relationship. It’s basically the entire job.
